What needed solving
Travelers had thousands of photos but no easy way to organize and share their journeys. Building albums manually was tedious. Gotoo needed AI that could reconstruct trips automatically from photo metadata and turn them into social travel stories.
How we built it
Matious built automatic trip discovery from the device photo library, bulk reverse geocoding that converts coordinates into place names and trip titles, a full social layer with followers and messaging, and a production-grade media pipeline with HLS streaming and CloudFront delivery.
What we delivered
Users can publish a complete trip story with one tap. The home radius filter cleanly separates travel photos from daily life. The app handles large video libraries reliably through resumable chunked uploads.
