Three-product AI career ecosystem for national workforce development in the UAE
What needed solving
The UAE needed a national-scale workforce development programme covering three distinct products: a candidate career portal, an AI-powered interview assessment platform, and a full learning management system with a mobile app - all connected, bilingual, and production-ready.
How we built it
Matious delivered three coordinated products end-to-end. First, a Candidate Portal built in Angular guiding trainees through onboarding, AI-drafted CVs, skill assessments, AI video interview practice, coaching booking, and job applications in English and Arabic. Second, an AI Interview Portal running full video, audio, and text assessments with OpenAI Whisper transcription, automated scoring and feedback, anti-cheating safeguards, and a structured results dashboard. Third, a Learning Platform on a custom Open edX fork with a bespoke theme, custom micro-frontends, a React Native mobile companion app, and production infrastructure on AWS EC2 with Tutor, all connected via Auth0 SSO.
What we delivered
Thousands of candidates across the UAE access career coaching, AI interview practice, job matching, and certified courses in one ecosystem. The AI interview portal screens candidates at scale without scheduling human interviewers. The mobile app lets learners browse courses, book coaches, search jobs, and manage their full profile from their phone. Every product shares a single identity and SSO layer.
